A grayscale paint application that simulates the tools and textures of natural media. Charcoals really smudge, pens really shade, pencils and chalk respond to the 'paper' grain. Image-editing operations include sharpen, soften, distort, flip and rotate. Use Sketcher to create illustrations for newspapers and brochures, rough our pencil sketches, draw cartoons, or create effects with letters, using Type 1 and TrueType fonts. You can even transform photos into pencil drawings or charcoals, with the cloning features. Supports PostScript, so you can print files on your laser printer or high-resolution image-setter.
